Things to do & see near Quinn’s De Bucket

Quinn’s De Bucket Bar & Restaurant is situated on both the Wild Atlantic Way & Shannon Estuary Drive on the N69

We are located just 3km from Carrigogunnell Castle ruin dating back to the 15th Century, which stands on a volcanic rock. The castle also features on the back cover and the label of the release of U2 album the “Unforgettable Fire” located near the village of Clarina.

Situated 3km away is Limerick Racecourse at Greenmount, Patrickswell

Heading north from the pub for about 6km you will reach the award winning village of Adare where you will find two renowned Golf Clubs one of which is attached to the beautiful Adare Manor.

Heading a few kms West of the pub on the N69 you will find lots of attractions such as:

  • Stonehall Visitor Farm in Kilcornan where you will find a wide variety of domestic and rare breed animals

Further along the Shannon Estuary Way you can visit Askeaton, Glin & Foynes.

In Tarbert you can take the ferry to Killimer and continue into the Co. Clare loop of the Drive.

If you wish to stay on The Wild Atlantic Way you can continue from Tarbert into Co. Kerry and West Cork.
